Blue Sage Soap

All Natural

Vegan Soap

As a family physician, I have been advising patients to avoid harsh soaps for some time now as most commercial soaps have ingredients which may cause skin dryness and irritation.  Furthermore, naturally moisturizing glycerin, which is formed during the soap making process, is often times extracted for other uses.   Fortunately, homemade soap retains this useful compound.

There are some skin conditions when soaps of any kind might be avoided, such as severe eczema, and a non-soap cleanser used instead.  Yet most skin types, even those with eczema can tolerate a soap as long as it is moisturizing.

After learning that many traditional soaps use lard or tallow as their oil component, I started to gain a greater interest in making my own soap.  As a vegetarian, I wasn’t comfortable using a soap that might contain animal products.  It was then a decision was made to make all natural soaps which would be a pleasure to use and not cause undue dryness.

Only the finest natural ingredients go into my soaps. Some of which are grown in my own garden, and only ones which I feel are safe for my family.

I’m confident that you will enjoy these soaps as much as I do.  For me, quality is the only option.

Thank you for visiting.  I wish you good health and happiness.
